Questions

Question numbers are free text, so 3a, 4(ii) and 7b all work. Topics feed the feedback sections, and reteach links appear under “Focus on”.

Grade boundaries

Enter the minimum mark needed for each grade, highest grade first — the way boundaries are published. U is fixed at 0 so every mark always receives a grade.

Pupils

0 pupils

Importing a CSV adds to this list — it never deletes pupils you have already entered. If a name or email matches someone already here, you will be asked what to do with the duplicate.

No pupils yet

Add pupils one at a time, or upload a CSV of your class list. Download the template first if you are not sure of the format.

Marksheet

A total and a grade appear once every question for that pupil is marked. Blank is not the same as zero.

Unmarked questions

Analyse

How the class performed, question by question and topic by topic. Everything here updates from the marksheet — there is nothing to fill in.

Feedback

Check the email, choose who receives it, then send. Nothing is sent until you press Send feedback and confirm.

Preview and edit email

Edits made here change the wording for every pupil in this assessment. To reword one pupil’s email on its own, use View in their row of the table below.

Who gets feedback

The Parents column is separate on purpose: untick a pupil there to send feedback to them but not to their parents. View opens that pupil’s own email — anything you change there applies to that pupil alone.
